Construction Manager -

Offshore OMPA support and supply the highest quality workforce for both the onshore and offshore operations of the renewables, oil & gas, telecommunications and marine industries.

We are looking for a Construction Manager to join our client for a long term project!

Location: Belgium / Netherlands, with offshore rotation
Project Duration: September 2026 – November 2028
Sector: Offshore / EPC / Civil Construction

We are looking for people with knowledge of other engineering disciplines, such as:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in civil construction is essential.
  • Engineering degree, preferably in Civil Engineering.
  • Electrical
  • Instrumentation
  • Telecommunications
  • Mechanical
  • Other relevant EPC disciplines
  • Experience working with large EPC contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Client Representatives and Project Engineers across offshore construction activities.
  • Act as the site single point of contact overseeing day-to-day construction activities.
  • Ensure HSE and quality compliance of the EPC contractor using a risk-based approach, supported by HSE/QC teams.
  • Monitor and report construction progress, ensuring alignment with project objectives and schedules.
  • Manage the Client Representative staffing, mobilisation and integration in coordination with the Works Manager and onshore team.
  • Review method statements, risk assessments and procedures, proactively identifying risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
  • Ensure effective coordination and communication between offshore disciplines and the wider onshore project team, including Marine, Civil, PM, Quality, HSE and Contracts.
