Lead Engineer -

Offshore OMPA support and supply the highest quality workforce for both the onshore and offshore operations of the renewables, oil & gas, telecommunications and marine industries.

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join our client in the Offshore Technology industry on a permanent basis! Details are below:

Role: Lead Engineer
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Style: Permanent, 40 hours a week, on-site
Salary: 70,000 – 90,000 annually + package (experience dependent)

You will need:

• Fluent English, Dutch is a bonus
• 3+ years experience in Lead Engineering roles
• A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
• EU and UK Standards knowledge
• Skilled with Autodesk Inventor and can work with manual calculations, STAAD, and Ansys

Responsibilities:

This role involves leading the design and construction of innovative equipment from concept through realization, ensuring high technical quality, timely delivery, and budget control. You manage project deliverables, coordinate and support suppliers, prepare and review technical documentation, and oversee assembly, testing, commissioning, and mobilization. You collaborate with internal teams such as Finance and HSSEQ, coach junior engineers, and take technical leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanical engineer with strong decision-making and communication skills, capable of managing full project lifecycles.
