Lead Engineer -

Offshore OMPA support and supply the highest quality workforce for both the onshore and offshore operations of the renewables, oil & gas, telecommunications and marine industries.

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join our client in the Offshore Technology industry;

Start Date: May 2026
Duration: Permanent, 40 hours a week, on-site
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Salary: 70,000 – 90,000 annually + package (experience dependent)

Requirements:
– Fluent English, Dutch is a bonus
– 3+ years experience in Lead Engineering roles
– A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
– EU and UK Standards knowledge
– Skilled with Autodesk Inventor and can work with manual calculations, STAAD, and Ansys

Responsibilities:
– Lead the design and build of innovative equipment from concept through to completion
– Manage projects to ensure technical quality, on-time delivery, and budget control
– Coordinate suppliers and support project delivery activities
– Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation
– Oversee assembly, testing, commissioning, and mobilization activities
– Collaborate with internal teams including Finance and HSSEQ
– Provide technical leadership and support to engineering teams
– Coach and mentor junior engineers
– Manage full project lifecycles from design through delivery
– Apply strong communication and decision-making skills to drive project success
