Tendering Technician -

Offshore MPA support and supply the highest quality workforce for both the onshore and offshore operations of the renewables, oil & gas, telecommunications and marine industries.

We are currently working with a client actively looking for a Tendering Technician; 

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Permanent- Full Time

Location:  China

Requirement:

Forming part of the tender team under the tender manager, with a focus on the Employers RFQ to:

• Report to the Tender Manager
• Form part of the Tender Team with responsibility for technical aspects of the RFQ
• Meet time critical timeline to be in position to submit the tender response in a timely manner
• Define the Contractual SoW and;
• Technical requirements and;
• Technical methodology and;
• Technical recommendations for procurement items and;
• Risk identification
• Support resourcing for suitable subcontracting partners given the SoW
• Support resourcing for suitable suppliers given the SoW
• Budgetary support when considering the technical requirements
• Join and lead tender negotiations with the Employer either F2F or online meetings for all technical items
• Review and comment on CoC (Clause of Contract) for installation activities
• Develop the Assumptions, Inclusions and Exclusions for the SoW
• Develop the Responsibility Matrix for the SoW
• Develop the subsequent subcontractors RFQ (Technical requirements)
• Review subcon proposal supplying a technical tender bid analysis (TBA) to the tender manager including recommendations and highlighting risks
• Join and participate in the subcontract negotiations
• Review the subcon’s:
  • CoC (Clause of Contract) for installation activities
  • Develop the Assumptions, inclusions and exclusions for the SoW
  • Develop the Responsibility Matrix for the SoW
• Identify GAPS (gap analysis) between main contract and subcontract from a technical aspect
• Identify risks from subcon proposal
