Technical Superintendent -

Offshore OMPA support and supply the highest quality workforce for both the onshore and offshore operations of the renewables, oil & gas, telecommunications and marine industries.

We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to join our client in the Maritime Transport industry on a permanent basis! Details are below:

Role: Technical Superintendent
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Style: Permanent, 40 hours a week, on-site
Salary: 60,000€ – 79,000€ annually + package (experience dependent)

You will need:

• Fluent English and Dutch
• 3+ years experience as a technical superintendent
• Experience with the construction and maintenance of seagoing vessels
• Knowledge of technical ship installations, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• You are accustomed to negotiating with repair facilities and subcontractors
• Experience with DP systems would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

As Technical Superintendent, you ensure the fleet is kept in excellent technical condition through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and necessary modifications. You manage inspections and certifications, coordinate work with shipyards and subcontractors, and stay in close contact with crew and colleagues about technical needs. You handle budgets, monitor costs, and document completed work, while also providing technical advice on improvements and investments. Your role requires the ability to interpret complex technical information, make sound decisions, and take appropriate action.
